SFLL Rangers Move Record To 14-1

The Bruce Ulrich DDS Rangers are pulling away in the Sierra Foothills Little League’s major division race.

Tacking up two more impressive wins – a 9-4 shelling of the Marlins and an 8-4 decision over the Braves – the Rangers sit atop the SFLL race with a sparkling 14-1 record.

Wes Woodward’s big bat sparked the two wins as he combined efforts in both games to club three home runs and collect seven RBIs.

Cameron Miller also shined for the Rangers with two hits in each game, four RBIs and several fine plays on defense at third base.

Also playing well for the league leaders were Taylor Avila, John Crane and Jacob Yarborough.

The Rangers will meet the Marlins again this Friday, May 31 at Applegate Park starting at 5:30 p.m.
