Rocklin Majors; TC All-Stars Win Again
District 11 All-Star teams were victorious again Thursday night in Section 4 Tournaments being played around the Sacramento area.
In the majors division, Rocklin raised its post season record to 7-0 with an 11-1 thumping of East Sacramento. The win was the second straight for the District 11 champions.
Rocklin now faces Woodcreek in a highly anticipated winner’s bracket showdown today at 5:45 p.m. at Tahoe Tallack Little League Park in Sacramento.
In the 11-year-old tournament at Richards Field in Roseville, Tri-City handed Woodcreek a 6-4 loss in the winner’s bracket showdown of that tournament.
Tri-City’s 11s will now meet Rancho Cordova today in the winner’s bracket semi-finals with the victor moving on to the finals which are set for Sunday, July 20, and Monday, July 21 (if necessary).
At West Sacramento, Tri-City’s 9-10-year-olds handed Antelope a 7-2 loss on Thursday and will meet Woodcreek today at 5:30 p.m. in a winner’s bracket semi-final of that tournament.
