Saying that Penn Valley Giants pitcher Dusty Zeisler was “on target” last week in a majors division interlock game with the Nevada City Indians may be the understatement of the local Little League season.

Using a blistering fastball and a teasing off speed pitch, Zeisler tossed a perfect game in helping lead the Giants to a 3-0 win over the Nevada City Indians.

Zeisler fanned 16 of the 18 batters he faced. The other two outs in the six-inning game were of the ground out variety. All total, Zeisler gained the win by throwing just 68 pitches.

The hard throwing Giants hurler has also been named to the Penn Valley Little League’s major division all-stars.
