Vikings Take Home Plenty Of Ribbons

The third track meet of the NCAL hosted by Union Hill was held at Nevada Union High School yesterday May 13th.

For 6th Graders this was also their Championship Meet. First through 3rd place would qualify to go to the NORCAL ELITE State Meet being held at NU on May 26th.

For the 7th and 8th Graders, the League Championships will be hosted by Magnolia at Bear River High School on May 20th.

Here are the results for Pleasant Valley School from yesterday's meet:

4th Grade Boys High Jump Nicholas Miller, 2nd Place

5th Grade Girls 800 Meter Kelsey Arvidson, 2nd Place

5th Grade Girls  Shot Put Celeste Picone, 3rd Place

5th Grade Boys Long Jump Trevor Campbell, 3rd Place

5th Grade Boys High Jump Trevor Campbell, 3rd Place.

6th Grade Girls: Brooklyn Nolen placed in the top three in all four of her events, qualifying her to compete at the NORCAL Elite Meet: 100 M            1st Place, 200 M  3rd Place, Long Jump 3rd Place, High Jump 1st Place.

7th Grade Boys Austin Waters in his first track meet ever, placed in 3 of his 4 events. 100 M, 5th Place 200 M, 5th Place High Jump,

8th Grade Girls 100 Meter Maddie Campbell, 2nd Place

8th Grade Girls 200 Meter Maddie Campbell, 2nd Place

8th Grade Girls 400 Meter Nicole Faker, 4th place

8th Grade Girls Shot Put Nicole Faker, 4th Place

8th Grade Girls High Jump Cierra Hadley, 1st Place, Caroline Bronson, 5th Place.

8th Grade Boys: Kevin Patterson placed in all three of his events: 200 Meter, 1st Place, 400 Meter 1st Place, 800 Meter,1st Place.
